Hi. Battle for Wesnoth is already packaged ( https://portablelinuxgames.org/game/battle-for-wesnoth ) and
thank You for it, but it's not the current stable version (1.16.6).

    @Ismael Barros², hi. I don't know why Your message is not displayed here, but I received an e-mail. I replied to it, but I'm not sure if the message got delivered so I post the content below:

    I think the second option seems like a nice idea. Especially that - if I understand it correctly - that will make it possible to rather easily generate an AppImage for any future versions of Battle for Wesnoth. I think that that would be really cool!

    I the meantime I have a request anyway: could You please either publish (with appropriate comment possibly) or just somehow share with me the generated AppImage that works on Ubuntu 22.04? That could be truly useful for me.
