Hmm, looks like SMTube AppImage package creation is already automated in https://github.com/AppImage/pkg2appimage/blob/master/recipes/SMTube.yml, but pkg2appimage doesn't appear to support cross-builds

If you have a 32bit Operative System, maybe you could try running `pkg2appimage SMTube`?

I just built a Hurrican AppImage, you can find it here: https://sourceforge.net/projects/pg4l/files/Hurrican%201.0.9.2-r1-archlinux-x86_64.run.xz/download

Could you please give it a try and tell me if it works for you?

Hi! Thanks for the suggestion, an sorry for the late reply

I'm not sure I'm going to be able to find time to package and test this game, but if the creators or someone else in the community is up to the task, I can help!

Looks like there's only Windows builds available, so they would need to be packaged with Wine: https://github.com/RazZziel/PortableLinuxGames/wiki/Creating-appimages-from-Windows-applications

However, according to https://github.com/NebuPookins/hurrican, the game builds fine on Linux, so the best results would be to build it in a old-ish distro and package that

    Thanks for the suggestion!

However I can't guarantee I'll be able to gather the time to package it and specially to test it, but if you're interested in creating the package, I'd be more than happy to help you out :) you can find some documentation here, just let me know if I can help: https://github.com/RazZziel/PortableLinuxGames/wiki

Indeed! I see Icculus has released an installer for Linux, but it needs the CD data, we can't distribute that legally :P

Version 1.2.3-r1 is working for me right now. What system are you using (distro & architecture), and what error are you seeing when you try to run the game?

Yup, I wasn't able to package those, I think because I wasn't able to make them run properly on my system.

Wine is the least of our problems; I'd be more afraid about licensing and distribution problems :D

    Finall! http://www.portablelinuxgames.org/?id=mupen64plus

M64PY won't be feasible for now, because of the Python issue; however things like wxMupen64Plus should be feasible

I didn't redirect the write directory; you can probably do that with the --datadir or --configdir parameters

You mean an interface like http://portableapps.com/? I've never used it; what features would you expect from such interface?
